How to Play Water Sort
Choose a tube
Tap or click a nonempty tube to select it. Tap it again to cancel.
Find a destination
Choose an empty tube or a tube with the same color on top and room for more water.
Pour matching layers
All consecutive layers of the top color move together, up to the available space.
Sort every color
Finish with each color in its own full tube. Empty tubes may remain.
This water sorting game starts with two colors and builds up to twelve. Undo lets you revisit a decision; Restart gives you the original board. Complete a level to unlock the next, or use Previous Level to revisit an earlier puzzle.
Water Sort Rules
- Every tube holds exactly four layers of liquid.
- Only the top continuous group of one color can be poured.
- Water goes into an empty tube or onto the same top color, with available space.
- You cannot pour from an empty tube, into a full tube, or back into the same tube.
- Every nonempty tube must be full and contain just one color to complete the level.
An illegal pour leaves the board unchanged. All 50 starting puzzles have a verified solution, but a sequence of your own moves can get stuck. There is no penalty for using Undo or trying again.
Tips for Water Sort
- Keep an empty tube available for moving a color out of the way.
- Look at what a pour will uncover before choosing its destination.
- Finish accessible color groups when that frees space for another move.
- Avoid filling every empty tube too early; leave room to reorganize.
- Think one or two moves ahead, and use Undo when a plan closes off your options.

What happens when I finish a level?
Completing a level unlocks the next one. Your current board, level and highest unlocked level are saved on this device when browser storage is available. After Level 50, you can replay completed levels.
