How to Play Jigsaw Solitaire
Study the complete picture before the tiles shuffle. Drag a tile onto another cell to swap or rearrange the board. Correct horizontal and vertical neighbors connect wherever they are on the board. Joined pieces move as one group and cannot be pulled apart. A move returns to its starting position if the other groups cannot fit.
Use Preview for a one-second look at the picture, or Hint to highlight two pieces with matching edges. Remaining counts the pieces outside your largest connected group. Complete the picture to unlock Next Level. After Level 10, start again at Level 1.
For keyboard play, focus a piece and press Enter or Space to select it, then focus a destination piece and press Enter or Space again. Restart reshuffles the current level and resets its timer and moves. Your level and board save automatically in this browser.

Is Jigsaw Solitaire free to play?
Yes. Play all ten levels free online without downloading an app.
Can I rotate pieces or upload a picture?
No. These puzzles use square picture tiles in a fixed grid, with ten built-in images. Pieces do not rotate.
Why do connected pieces move together?
Correctly neighboring pieces form a permanent group. Drag any piece in the group to move its whole shape. If the board cannot accommodate the move without breaking a group, the move is cancelled.
Will my progress survive a refresh?
Your current level, board, moves and playing time are saved locally when browser storage is available. Clearing browser data removes this progress.
