Flower Mahjong

Flower Mahjong is a garden-themed Mahjong Solitaire game made for calm, focused play. The first three beginner boards—Flower, Leaf, and Nut—start with 96 tiles, while the remaining layouts use 144 tiles and build toward denser, more complex structures. Across both sizes, 36 individual floral designs create layered decisions that reward careful observation.

The game runs directly in a current mobile or desktop browser. You can begin immediately, choose any of the 30 playable layouts, and keep progress on your own device. The soft garden setting and restrained Bloom feedback create a different mood from traditional or animal sets. Mahjong Solitaire remains the focus: inspect the structure, find a useful pair, and gradually open the board.

Select two free tiles that show exactly the same design. A tile is free only when no tile from a higher layer overlaps it and at least one horizontal side—left or right—is open. A tile with both sides blocked cannot be removed even if its matching partner is visible. Likewise, a tile underneath another tile must wait until the covering piece has been cleared.

Every Flower Mahjong tile follows exact matching rules. Lotus matches Lotus, Peony matches Peony, and each numbered or lettered tile matches only its identical counterpart. There is no special rule that lets different flower designs match one another. Hint points to an available pair, Undo reverses a recent removal, Shuffle redistributes the remaining faces without changing their positions, and Restart begins the current layout again.

The botanical theme carries through the tile art, garden board, music, and successful-match feedback. Quick consecutive pairs build a Flower Bloom streak. As the streak rises, the game adds a little more visual and sound emphasis; reaching a 3× Bloom produces a brief petal rain across the board. A completed layout also receives its own flower-petal celebration.

Individual matches use a small Petal Burst, while Floral Dragon, Lotus, and Peony pairs receive a more distinctive special floral celebration. These effects confirm a successful choice, but they do not change which tiles are free, alter the matching rules, or add a score-based objective.

The set is organized into recognizable visual families. Nine Floral Dots use ordered groups of colorful blossoms, so the count and arrangement help distinguish nearby values. Nine Floral Bamboo designs combine upright green stems with flower accents, forming strong vertical silhouettes. Nine Floral Characters pair a prominent number with a different botanical illustration, making both the symbol and the plant useful matching cues.

Four Floral Winds use the letters E, S, W, and N alongside distinct plants. Three Floral Dragons use clearly different rose, green botanical, and white lotus artwork. Lotus and Peony complete the set as large, showcase-style blooms. These seven families—Floral Dots, Floral Bamboo, Floral Characters, Floral Winds, Floral Dragons, Lotus, and Peony—create variety while keeping exact pairs readable on a small phone screen.
