Play Christmas Mahjong

Uletime Christmas Mahjong includes 30 playable layouts with Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty labels. The set begins with the Easy First Snow, moves through progressively more varied holiday boards, and ends with the Medium Christmas Night.

The difficulty comes from the shape and stacking of each layout. Hard boards such as Snowfall, Snowbound, and Holiday Journey require more careful pairing order because useful tiles are more restricted.

You can play Christmas Mahjong on Uletime and select any available layout from the level chooser.

Levels 1–10: Learning the Holiday Set

The first ten layouts introduce the full range of difficulty early.

You begin with two Easy boards:

  • First Snow
  • Winter Welcome

Then Holiday Wishes introduces Medium difficulty.

The opening group also includes:

  • Frosted Window — Easy
  • Pine Trail — Medium
  • Snowy Morning — Hard
  • Cozy Corner — Easy
  • Lantern Walk — Easy
  • Fireside Evening — Medium
  • Gift Exchange — Hard

This is a useful section for learning how quickly layout geometry can change the difficulty even when the matching rules stay the same.

Levels 11–20: More Complex Layouts

The middle section becomes more varied.

Levels 11–20 are:

  • Winter Garden — Easy
  • Sleigh Ride — Medium
  • Holiday Market — Hard
  • Carol Time — Easy
  • Northern Lights — Medium
  • Snowfall — Hard
  • Christmas Eve — Easy
  • Candlelight — Medium
  • Woodland Path — Hard
  • Winter Village — Easy

The pattern alternates frequently between easier recovery boards and more demanding layouts.

Snowfall and Woodland Path are both Hard, making this section a good place to practice careful move selection after you are comfortable with the basic rules.

Levels 21–30: Late-Set Challenges

The final ten layouts are:

  • Starlit Sky — Medium
  • Snowbound — Hard
  • Golden Glow — Easy
  • Festive Gathering — Medium
  • Quiet Forest — Hard
  • Midwinter — Easy
  • Winter Moon — Medium
  • Holiday Journey — Hard
  • December Memories — Easy
  • Christmas Night — Medium

The late set does not simply become harder every level.

Instead, Easy, Medium, and Hard boards continue to alternate.

That gives you recovery opportunities between the more demanding layouts and keeps the progression varied.

The set finishes with Christmas Night, a Medium layout rather than a final Hard spike.

How Many Easy, Medium and Hard Layouts Are There?

Across all 30 levels, the set contains:

  • 12 Easy layouts
  • 10 Medium layouts
  • 8 Hard layouts

That balance gives beginners plenty of accessible boards while still providing a meaningful group of harder layouts for more experienced players.

Easy levels are distributed throughout the full set instead of appearing only at the beginning.

All Hard Christmas Mahjong Levels

The eight Hard layouts are:

  1. Snowy Morning — Level 6
  2. Gift Exchange — Level 10
  3. Holiday Market — Level 13
  4. Snowfall — Level 16
  5. Woodland Path — Level 19
  6. Snowbound — Level 22
  7. Quiet Forest — Level 25
  8. Holiday Journey — Level 28

These are the boards where pairing order deserves the most attention.

Before clearing an easy pair, look for high blockers, restrictive rows, and duplicate tiles that may become difficult to match later.

Which Layout Should Beginners Start With?

Start with First Snow.

It is Level 1, rated Easy, and gives you a natural place to learn the free-tile rules and the basic rhythm of opening a layered board.

Other Easy layouts such as Winter Welcome, Frosted Window, Cozy Corner, and Lantern Walk are also good practice.

Once those feel comfortable, move into Medium boards such as Holiday Wishes, Pine Trail, and Fireside Evening.

Which Layouts Are Best for Strategy Practice?

For strategy practice, mix difficulty levels instead of playing only Hard boards.

A useful progression is:

  1. play an Easy layout and focus on clean board opening,
  2. move to a Medium layout and watch duplicate tile order,
  3. try a Hard layout and slow down before every major match.

For example:

First Snow → Holiday Wishes → Snowy Morning

or:

Christmas Eve → Candlelight → Woodland Path

This lets you practice the same strategic ideas under progressively tighter conditions.

Why Layout Difficulty Matters

The rules are consistent, but the geometry changes how many useful options you have.

An Easy layout usually gives you more accessible pairs and more forgiving openings.

A Hard layout can place important tiles behind multiple blockers or make pairing order more restrictive.

That is why knowing the rules is only the first step.
