Play on a Larger 2048 Board

2048 Large Board lets you play the classic 2048 puzzle on bigger grids. Start with 2048 8x8, or choose 6x6, 10x10 or 12x12 for more room to build higher-value tiles. Every size is part of the same free online game.

2048 8x8 gives you 64 spaces to arrange your numbers. The big grid 2048 format keeps the familiar rules: use arrow keys or swipe to slide every tile, merge matching pairs once per move, and earn the value of each merged tile. A new 2 or 4 appears after every valid move.

Choose Your Board Size

2048 6x6 has 36 cells and is more forgiving than Classic 4x4 while keeping sessions relatively short. 2048 8x8 is the balanced default, with 64 cells. Choose 2048 10x10 for longer games on 100 cells, or 2048 12x12 for the most space and room to pursue higher tiles on 144 cells. Larger grids give more room to combine tiles and tend to create longer games. Switching boards starts a fresh game after confirmation when a session is underway. Score belongs to the current game; Best is saved separately for each board size on this device.

Keep your largest tile near a corner and arrange smaller numbers beside it. More space gives you time to recover, but scattered high tiles can still block useful merges. Reach 2048, then select Continue Playing to chase larger numbers. The game ends when the grid is full and no neighboring equal tiles can merge.
